Focus and scope

Perspectivas de investigación en Educación Físicais a semi-annual scientific journal (April-September and October-March) edited by  Centro de Estudios e Investigación de Educación Física (CEIdEF) from Instituto de Investigaciones en Humanidades y Ciencias Sociales, IdIHCS, belonging to the Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias de la Educación, Universidad Nacional de La Plata and the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas, CONICET. 

It publishes Research articles (original and previously unpublished articles), Research Practices, Workbooks, Research Sources and  Reviews in Spanish, that seek to disseminate productions related to research practices in the field of Physical Education.

It's aimed at researchers, teachers, directors, officials, professionals and students. 

 

Peer review process

Perspectivas accepts original and previously unpublished articles. All contributions undergo a double-blind peer review system (an internal and an external expert reviewer) with the contribution of researchers  who make up their committee of external consultants.

Articles are preliminarily evaluated by the editors in order to establish if the contents fit within the scope declared by the journal.

Perspectivas reserves the right to accept or reject contributions, according to their thematic scope and compliance with publication policies and standards.

When the first evaluation is positive, two external expert reviewers specialized in the area are chosen to assess the submission of the paper. The journal uses a double-blind review system: the anonymity of the authors and reviewers is preserved.

 

Submissions 

Perspectivas accepts original and previously unpublished articles in spanish. Authors are expected to respect the good practices and codes of ethics of scientific publications, that is, to avoid double submission, ghost and honorific authorship, plagiarism, data manipulation, conflict of interest and compliance with research ethics policies.

Perspectivas reserves the right to accept or reject contributions, according to their thematic scope and compliance with publication policies and standards.

The opinions expressed by the authors are their sole responsibility.

There are no fees for submission, publication or access.

Once published, the articles will be available for anyone to read or download free of charge.

OJS registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of recent submissions.
